Matt Scobie just won the GAO Spring Classic
"I just got some great news that our very own Matt Scobie just won the GAO Spring Classic. This is one of the biggest events that the GAO (Golf Association of Ontario) holds for Junior Golfers. It was a three day tournament that was held at Wooden Sticks. It is split up into 2 divisions, a 14 – 16 and a 17 and 18 year old division. Matt is only 16 but won the whole thing and beat all the 17 and 18 year old kids. If you see him make a point to congratulate him on his big win. Matt shot 71 – 69 – 78 to win by one shot over the best Junior Golfers in the province earning him an exemption into the RCGA Canadian Junior Championship being held in BC later this year.
