Welcome to the 2008 Salem Ridge Ladies Golf League!( located at The Deer Creek Academy )
Hello Ladies!
It’s hard to believe that Spring is around the corner with all this snow outside, however past experience has taught us that the golf season will be upon us very quickly.
We will once again be hosting 3 Ladies Leagues this year: Monday Evening, Thursday Morning, and Thursday Evening. I’m very happy to announce that Carol Francis and Leslie Pike had too much fun last year, and are very much looking forward to returning in 2008 with some fresh new ideas. Carol, Leslie, Bobby and myself have taken into account everyone’s suggestions into making 2008 even bigger and better than 2007 and of course we will be here to assist you throughout the season.
Some of the exciting changes planned for 2008:
• Mid- Season mix up has been changed to be earlier in the season to give the ladies time to meet everyone earlier on, and before they go away on holidays.
• Holiday Mondays – golf will be optional with the opportunity to make the game up any time prior to the following Monday.
• More contests have been designed to allow all participants a fair chance to win.
• Week #17 includes the option of golfing at Deer Creek South with a $25 green fee.
(must be confirmed and paid for 1 week prior, also subject to availability at DCS)
The weekly league green fee rate will be $16, and this will be the rate for our league members any day or time they decide to come and play at Salem Ridge.
Registration fees are $75 for the early bird, or $80 after April 21 2008.
This year’s closing banquet, the mid-season BBQ, as well as weekly prize giveaways
will again be included in the registration fees.
